Joseph A. Martone served on Tri Community and Youth Agency's Board of Directors since the early 1980's until his death
in 2004. Joe was a dedicated volunteer who assumed many roles on the board over the years. Joe served as Vice
President, President, Treasurer and chair of the Fundraising Committee.
The Joseph A. Martone Scholarship was funded by Joe's former student, David S. Pottrock and is administered through Tri
Community and Youth Agency. This is an annual award which honors one student from each of the three schools that
Tri CYA serves. This scholarship is awarded to a student who combines the values and ideals that Joe stood for: hard
work, commitment to school work, athletics, team work, and an usnselfish dedication to a community cause.
